pov you have internet access

 today was fine I guess. I got shit sleep (like one and a half hours. I couldn't even doze off until like 5 AM. apparently drinking two Thai iced teas in the evening isn't good for sleep.) despite said shitty sleep, nothing bad happened today. I wasn't even woozy like I was last time I went to work sleep deprived. a nice lady gave me candy and a $20 tip. much appreciated!

anywayyyyys so today I'm gonna share Cairo!!! she's one of Fumingo's two best friends, who I mentioned in the last post. 





   I'll write out the text from the first image:
"brave, sweet, gentle, quick thinker, always takes a dare, loyal, thick skulled. fatal flaw: can't back down. strong morals, selfless, ambivert, low capacity for magic. can get along with anyone."
 she's obviously got good self esteem and quite a bit of self confidence as well. however, she can come across as pushy and/or bossy sometimes, and may annoy people with the strength of her views at times as well. despite being very humanitarian and compassionate, she's pragmatic and logical to a fault (which is why she has low capacity for magic. more to be explained later...) even when it makes her come across as cold or even heartless. 
   to describe her appearance: tall. 5'11. quite strong as well. the right half of her skull is shaved while the left half grows down to a bit above her shoulder. Her hair is a nice gold + brown dirty blonde (its not dyed black I wrote that tomfuckery more than 4 years ago ignore it!!!). she wears a golden ankh earring. her arms have triangle tattoos. Cairo's outfit boasts a tank top (off white with a pink flower), a midi skirt with slit (pale beige), and sock sneakers (light beige but not quite as light as the skirt). the girl refuses to wear any jewelry besides her earring. she's white pretty much through and through but if I ever have to flesh out her ancestry I'll probably say she's got a bit Armenian in her or something and is otherwise british/irish/french or something. who cares.
   in terms of background, she has one mom (named Cameron) and zero father figures. she grew up middle class, lots of friends, and met Fumingo when she was in her mid teens. Fumingo and her are two members of their three member friend group. the third friend, Yucatan, will get attention in my next post. out of the three in the friend circle, Cairo is the one I have thought about the least... that will change eventually, I'm sure. she's sort of a leader/driving force among them and also an unwitting love triangle member. Yucatan wants her, Fumingo wants Yucatan, and Cairo wants no one because she's aro ace.

 "well... today was good, I guess. I got to walk around, the weather was hot + dry, and I did some miscellaneous things, like repeatedly shoving a stick against dirt to clean off some abandoned steps in the woods.  (continuation of the last post) Lusvega placed a hand on Duma's shoulder, wondering about this fallen man. He was warm. Understanding that he was alive, she turned him onto his back and recognized him as one of her fellow numen. His eyes cracked open and he knew her for who she was as well. Before saying a word, he made to push her away with a wave of his power, but she stayed put, unaffected and seeming to weather it as if it were a mere spring breeze. hah! yeah right!!

 I was rereading some of my writings earlier. during 2022 and a lot of 2023, I was very unhappy. it was at its worst in 2022, but even in 2023 I would write stuff in my notes app diary that got bad ridiculously quick: "I hope having more time to ourselves helps both of us. Maybe me taking action like this will inspire him to take more initiative or be more active or something. It's cold in my house. I wish I didn't exist..." like what!!! seriously!! still better than me kicking off the first entry (3/12/22) with "... I languished for 4 hours and went to bed. Anyways. I wasted today. It sucked. The end."    can't really say I'm any less dramatic now, but I hide it a little more thoroughly.
